IN A dynamic and boundary-pushing collaboration, UGG and AMBUSH have created a limited collection inspired by underground Tokyo youth culture.
Founded in 2008 as a luxury jewellery brand, Ambush has quickly expanded into designing ready-to-wear collections that focus on sleek designs and experimental styling. Its pop-art influenced designs have captured a distinct sense of what fashion in Tokyo means.

This collaboration draws inspiration from Tokyo street style where self-expression are illustrated through unexpected and unconventional looks. Under creative director, Yoon Ambush, the desigenr uses their distinctive perspective to reinvent the classic UGG boot silhouettes.
The designs feature premium materials such as full-grain leather, nubuck, and UGG’s signature sheepskin, giving each piece definition and a rich variety of textures. This limited three-piece collection showcases these elements in a striking, cohesive way.

The collaboration further dives into the importance of the capital’s early 2000s subculture through a short film titled Alley Of Youth. Filmed in Tokyo’s fashionable and vibrant district of Shibuya, this film focuses on the expression individuality in youth culture.
Starring the singer and songwriter Yuki Chiba, a prominent figure within the Japanese hip-hop scene, the film follows him and a group of girls in fluffy UGG AMBUSH heels, getting into a feud when a friend goes mysteriously missing leading to a brief fight before the girls prevail.

A standout piece from this collection is the white and red UGG AMBUSH heel. The fluffy white fur contrasts beautifully with the red pointed heel, which features ties that wrap seductively up the leg. These bold knee-high shoes can be paired with jeans or a colour-coordinated mini skirt, but they always make a statement, catching everyone’s eye.
